ENGAGEMENTS
The
engagement of Eleni Kamesa, Pittsford.
ÍÕ
and Patrick G. Cahill, Rochester,
ÍÕ
was announced early in May. Eleni, daughter of
Association Member John and Julie Camesas, Agios
Stefanos, Attiki, Greece, studied at Georgia University
and she is employed by Compuware Corporation. Eleni
spent her early youth in suburban Buffalo,
ÍÕ.
Patrick, a Penn Yan,
ÍÕ
native, is a graduate of Rochester Institute of
Technology and is employed by SysTMS Inc. A mid-October
wedding is planned.

Association
Treasurer Michael and Heather Bechakas, Kane,

became parents in early November of twins, a
girl
and a boy.
The siblings, Avery Justjne and Alex John are doing well
after a slightly premature introduction to their new
world. Association Statistician John and Toula Sfendonis
Bechakas are the proud paternal grandparents.
James &
Kelly (Bechakas) Pronti, Rochester,
ÍÕ,
became the parents of a daughter in late March. The
child "Eva" -Evanthia Zoe, is named in memory of her
paternal grandmother. The maternal grandparents are
Fotini (Telliou) and the late Loukas George Bechakas, of
the Buffalo. ÍÕ
area .
The name
John was bestowed
upon
the child
of Nestor & Suzanne, Kokinos at the Hellenic Orthodox
,Church of the Annunciation, Buffalo,
ÍÕ
in
late
February 2004. The paternal grandparents are Association
Member John & Donna Kokinos and the godparents are Paul
and Argyrie Shosho.

Member David and Colleen (Malamas) Hunt, Kenmore
ÍÕ
welcomed and addition to their family November 28, 2003.
The child, Anastasia, is loved by her older sister
Rachael Victoria who provides lots of help, hugs and
kisses. The Hellenic Orthodox Church, Buffalo,
ÍÕ
was the setting for the christening of Anastasia
Victoria. The child's godfather is uncle Nickolas
Malamas. The maternal grandparents are Association
Member John Í.
and Victoria (Sasopoulos) Malamas, Tonawanda,
ÍÕ.

reception was held
in
honor of
the child's baptism at the Garden City Community Center.
Association
Member Nicholas & Katerina Pittas became the parents of
a son, Zisis Nicholaos
in
January 2003. Later that year, in October, as the proud
paternal grandparents, Association Member Zisis and
Katina (Bechakas) Pittas looked on, the child was
christened at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the
Annunciation, Buffalo, NY .Á
reception
in
honor of
the occasion was held for a large number of family,
relatives and friends at the Creekside Banquet Hall,
Cheektowaga, ÍÕ.
